Dumisani is currently working as an Independent Organisation and Leadership Development Consultant as well as a Sessional Lecturer at Wits School of Governance [WSG] and Wits Business School [WBS]. Previously worked as a Director: Academic, at WorldsView Academy and as a Lecturer at the Universities of Fort Hare (UFH), KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and South Africa (UNISA). His work experience includes, amongst others, working as a Director, Curriculum Training and Development at the National Department of Education, Director of the US Aid funded Ikhwelo Project, Community Development Workers Facilitator and Operations Manager at the Development Action Group. He also served as National Programme/Operations Manager and a Chief Executive Officer for numerous organisations in KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and Gauteng Provinces.
Dumisani’s consultancy work, which extends to more than 30 years, touched on some of the following areas: Organisational Development, Change Management, Diversity Management, Strategic Planning, Corporate Governance, Mental Health and Wellness, Project Management, Human Resource Management and Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Resources Mobilisation, Sustainable Development, Stakeholder Management, Local Government and Local/Regional Economic Development, Small Business Development and Community Development. He is also actively involved in the activities of the Association for Change Management Practitioners and the South African Organisation Development Network.
