Chantal Robertson
Chantal has been involved in the financial services industry for just over 30 years. She started her career with FNB in the foreign exchange dealing environment, and subsequently moved into the Exchange Control Consulting field with PwC. During this time, she worked with many multi-nationals providing guidance on a range of regulatory matters. In addition, she was involved in the 2003 Amnesty, during which time she focused on individuals and the unwinding of loop structures. This knowledge stood her in good stead with the following two amnesties (the Voluntary Disclosure Programmes in 2010 and 2016) after re-joining FNB in 2006. She’s a solution driven cross-border expert who assists clients, both on an individual and business level, with complex needs in terms of foreign exchange and exchange control requirements. She has held various roles within the group since re-joining in 2006, and currently heads up Cross-Border Advisory with the FNB Financial Advisory Business Unit.
