Overview
The monthly tax update covers recent developments in South African tax with specific focus on what is relevant to tax practitioners, accountants and business owners. The June 2020 webinar will cover the following:
- Recent tax judgments including the UK case of Fowler v Commissioner for HMRC, which dealt with the interpretation of the SA-UK double tax treaty;
- SARS documents issued for comment such as the draft rule amendment under sections 29A and 120 of the Customs & Excise Act that deals with persons who are excluded from formal registration requirements and the relevant code to use by these persons;
