Shazia is a Transfer Pricing and International Tax Senior Manager at BDO in South Africa.
Shazia has eight years of experience within the tax field. Shazia completed the three-year tax trainee program at EY after which she decided to specialize in transfer pricing and has since gained experience working at Grant Thornton and now BDO in South Africa.
Shazia’s experience in specific sectors include but are not limited to the following: FMCG, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, financial services, distribution, retail, and services.
Analysing and resolving international and local transfer pricing issues faced by multinational enterprises within South Africa and putting in place appropriate documentation to support clients transfer pricing policy documents within South Africa. Shazia also has experience in controversy matters pertaining to transfer pricing audits with African tax authorities.
Shazia has completed her B.Com Accounting degree, B.Com Honours in Taxation and her M.Com in SA and International Tax. Shazia has also obtained her occupational certificate with declares her competent as a Tax Professional of South Africa.
