Karen Miller

Is a tax practice consultant with over 20 years of experience in corporate tax across South Africa, Australia, and the UK. A recognised expert in transfer pricing and international tax, she has held senior leadership roles at SARS, EY, and Deloitte. Karen advises on transfer pricing controversy, dispute resolution, and OECD compliance, and is a regular presenter at industry events and a published author on tax matters.


Carryn Alexander

Is a Partner in the Tax Practice based in Cape Town, specialising in tax dispute resolution and tax advisory services for multinational enterprises across Africa. With extensive experience in corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT, customs, and cross-border transactions, she advises clients on complex tax disputes, compliance, and risk management. Carryn is recognised as a Leading Individual in Tax Law by Best Lawyers 2026.

Payments and cancellations

  • All payments must be made by EFT or by credit card, at least 3 working days before commencement of an event.
  • Kindly note that should payment not be received 2 days after the event, legal action will be taken
  • Proof of payment will be requested at registration, if payment does not reflect on Tax faculty’s bank account.
  • Only written notice of cancellation will be recognized.
  • Conditions:
    • If the cancellation occurs more than 4 working days prior to the event no cancellation fee will be charged.
    • If the cancellation occurs less than 4 working days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Delegates who book and fail to attend will be liable for the full event fee.
  • Tax faculty’s liability in the case of an event being cancelled will be limited to a refund or credit of the event fee.
