There is a wealth of changes to employment related payroll legislation moving through the amendment cycle towards implementation from March 2022. The two Tax Amendment Bills have now been tabled in Parliament and will soon be promulgated as final legislation. Amongst other matters, the final changes include the simplification of the fringe benefit calculation of employer paid contributions to retirement funds, and the expansion of the fringe benefit for Long Service Awards, an important change that will be explained in detail.
Join payroll expert, Rob Cooper, for a jam-packed morning where he will bring you up-to-date with all the happenings in the payroll arena.
Important changes to the Employment Tax Incentive to curb abuse will be introduced retrospectively, and Rob will be able to clarify the determination of the months that are a core component of the calculation of the ETI amount.
You will be updated on tax certificate requirements for the 2021/22 tax year end submissions, as well an idea of potential changes for the August 2022 interim submissions.
The proposals in Budget 2022 that impact on employers will be unpacked in the webinar, and there will be an update on the status of the SARS Vision 2024 project that will make welcome but significant changes to Personal Income Tax administration in future years. As always with these presentations, questions are welcome, and you will be provided with the slides and a comprehensive workbook for later reference purposes.
In a down-to-earth presentation, the webinar will bring you up to date and help you with these changes as well as looking ahead as best we can in these uncertain times. Join us to understand how these changes will affect your company.
