Overview
The Tax Administration Act, 28 of 2011 (TAA), relevant Public Notices, and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 14 of 2021 (POPIA), set out the legal requirements for the retention of documents by taxpayers and third parties. These laws also govern how such documents may be disposed of and outline the security measures that must be implemented.
This course aims to guide participants through the complexities of these legislative requirements and offers practical case studies for application in real-world scenarios.
