Tax Practice: On the Move - November
Overview
Join the South African Institute of Tax Professionals for an all-new webinar series, Tax Practice: On the Move. The webinars aim to bring you the latest tax practice news and SARS information in a succinct, one-hour, interactive webinar. Each monthly session will feature tax news presented by Jerry Botha, Managing Partner – Tax Consulting SA, followed by a specialist panel discussion on various trending topics. Guest speakers will join us “in studio” to take your questions and provide instant feedback.
Some of the topics covered will include:
- SARS General (e.g. Notifications from the Commissioner affecting practitioners, changes in the way that SARS will operate, branch closures)
- SARS Operations (e.g. new forms, system changes)
- SARS Legal and Policy (e.g. new interpretation notes, guidelines)
- Events in the legislative cycle (e.g. movement in legislative proposals, issuing of regulations, draft legislation, call for comment)
- New case law (tax law, labour law)
- Matters affecting Tax Practitioners (e.g. economic outlook, articles by specialists, POPIA, labour law)
Seats are limited to 1000 delegates per session, so be sure to book in advance. Tax Practice: On the Move is a free benefit to SAIT members.
If you can’t make it to a live session, a downloadable podcast will be made available that you’re able to listen to while you’re on the move.
