Local and Global Changes: Impact and Solutions for Advisors and Clients
“Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” John F. Kennedy
Overview
Globally, the tax and client advisory industry is dynamic and subject to continuous change which requires a persistent search for knowledge and trusted networking partners. Local and international changes in law and general trends highlight the reason for the annual Cross-border Considerations for the Global Client event. Various articles have been published about changes in domestic and international laws and conflicting views have been expressed. A client’s current advice document might be subject to outdated views.
This workshop will introduce you to presenters from different jurisdictions with multidisciplinary skill sets. They will share their experience and knowledge relating to diverse aspects of international trends and legal and practical principles, including dealing with topics that deal with domestic realities. Advisors must comply and manage the twists and turns of foreign and local rules and the impact of non-compliance.
