Overview
SARS eFiling brings together registration, taxpayer administration, returns, payments, correspondence and compliance services. Effective use requires an understanding of the selected portfolio, the taxpayer concerned, the authority to act and the evidence that confirms an action has been completed.
This short course develops a structured approach to those tasks. Learners progress from registration and basic navigation to user permissions, organisational functions, return processing, specialist services and compliance monitoring. Throughout the course, the emphasis is on selecting the correct route, checking access and status, and retaining the information needed for follow-up.
Practical scenarios, embedded SARS screenshots and self-check questions connect the procedures to everyday work in a tax practice or finance function. Ten supporting SARS reference guides provide further procedural detail. The course focuses on eFiling administration; detailed tax calculations and specialist legal analysis require additional technical study.
Mode of Delivery
