Overview

In today’s regulatory landscape—where accuracy, transparency, and digital competence are essential—this practical session equips tax professionals to approach the 2025 Filing Season with clarity and confidence.

The webinar provides key insights into SARS requirements for personal income tax, trust submissions, IT3(t) reporting, and provisional tax. It focuses on real-world application, including correcting IRP5 and directive mismatches, updating third-party data, and managing auto-assessments effectively.

Participants will gain practical strategies for pre-submission readiness, such as updating registered particulars, verifying bank details, appointing registered representatives, and activating relevant tax types (including IT3) on eFiling.

The session also demystifies the trust reporting process, clarifying the roles of “Submitting Entity” versus “Reporting Entity” and offering detailed guidance on completing IT3-01 and IT3-02 return forms.

Additionally, we’ll explore the SARS Online Query System (SOQS)—a strategic tool for handling administrative tasks beyond eFiling. From pre-filing preparation to data corrections and trust compliance, this is a comprehensive, practical session designed to optimise your filing season performance.
