Overview
Practices with staff are carrying more work through the same people. Capacity and workload, the hours absorbed by SARS correspondence and queries, and the training and retention of competent staff are common concerns in professional practices. Each bears directly on how a practice organises, develops and holds its people to account.
This 90-minute interactive webinar translates those pressures into practical tools. Practice principals, managers and seniors examine how to protect productive time under deadline pressure, allocate work with clear ownership, develop junior staff through feedback and coaching, and resolve the friction that slows a team down. Delegates work through a practice-based scenario and leave with one personal commitment and one team practice to apply immediately.
The session is presented by Dumisani Ntombela, an independent organisation and leadership development consultant and visiting lecturer at the Wits School of Governance and Wits Business School, with more than 30 years of experience in organisational development.
