SUMMARY:Capacity Development: Upskill Staff to Advance Organisational Excellence
DESCRIPTION:The webinar explored how practices could build capacity and capability to improve performance and support sustainable growth. Practitioners were encouraged to diagnose underlying issues before choosing solutions\, distinguishing between capacity\, capability and organisational conditions\, as misdiagnosis led to ineffective interventions. The session addressed identifying and prioritising capability gaps across technical\, business\, interpersonal and management areas\, and emphasised that capability developed through application rather than training alone\, using the 70–20–10 lens. The role of managers as capability builders and the influence of structures\, processes and culture on performance were also considered.
